Senior Unity Developer – Remote Contract
Pixel Play is looking for a contract Senior Unity Developer, who will participate in the development and maintenance of our live mobile games and assist in the creation of new mobile titles. You will drive the implementation of new features that will help us evolve and take our games to new heights, growing our player base and bringing our fans back for more. Scaling our games into the top of the charts, you’ll have an opportunity to ensure our new features maintain optimal performance and continue to engage our players around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to engineer features such as:
- Character Controllers
- Limited time events (seasons) with unique and fun gameplay
- Quests and other daily activities that drive user retention
- Game Physics
- Create frameworks and systems that can be reused across projects
- Iterate quickly in response to testing feedback
- Provide technical insight and ideas regarding game design
Must Haves:
- 3/5+ years of game development experience
- Commercial experience with Unity and C#
- Proficient in Unity – Games & Mobile App Development
- Experience building gameplay systems / building blocks for authoring content
- Computer Science / Software Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience and ability to Develop products for iOS and Android devices
Nice to Haves:
- Experience creating VR/AR applications or experiences using Unity
- Experience with Ad network SDK integration
- Knowledge of Analytics systems
- Love for video games and other fun things
